Chase's 100 Favorite Movies (As of July 2025)

I believe this will be the conclusion of this personal tradition to meditate, reflect, and thoughtfully rank my personal favorite 100 films every 2 years. Ever since I became a father in 2022, I just don't watch enough movies anymore like I did in my teens and 20s for this list to be interesting. I just felt, this being the 10-year anniversary of my first list, it was only right to honor the decade of tradition.
Here is this year's list of the films that are (good or bad) closest to my heart. This is not a list of objective quality, but of what strength of feeling I have for a film.
I may still come back for other lists, thinking about redoing my bucket list, but until I become a more consistent movie watcher again, this list is just too repetitive.
