Christmas music is some of my very favorite music. I could listen any time, but I do try to reserve it for the season. I had to come up with my own list, however, because I don't want to hear sad songs about war and famine torn areas not knowing it's Christmas, or about people who can't get home to be with family (what some people wouldn't give for that problem), or Mariah Carey. Just no. I love the hymns and carols. I love the Santa, sleigh bells, snow men, and decking the halls. I love when voices blend to raise a song (check out Bing & Bowie; Silent Night with Kelly, Trisha, and Reba; Hallelujah with John Legend and Carrie Underwood; or by the magic of technology the duet between Nat King Cole and John Legend). If you haven't heard these and love holiday music, hope you look for them.
