Cinephile 101: Iconic Older Movies

Cinephile 101 is a cinephile/film buff list series, aiming to cover a diverse range of different areas that anyone who claims this distinction should really know their stuff in.
In this entry of the series, we're looking at iconic old movies. By old, we mean 1950s or older. The youth of today may be like Spider-man in Captain America: Civil War and think that The Empire Strikes Back is an 'old' movie, but we have other ideas. The youth of today may think these movies are too old to be worth watching. They are making a big mistake. Here are 100 movies that, among film aficionados, maintain an excellent reputation.
