Cities With Walls That Have Stood the Test of Time
Men have been building walls around their cities for 12000 years and whilst time, the forces of nature and the needs of growing populations have reduced many of these walls to rubble or seen them deliberately demolished, others remain. Whilst most survive as remnant sections, others stand complete - or very nearly so. Here's a list of those I have seen, walked through, beside or along the ramparts. What tales their ancient stones could tell.
