Classic Hollywood Films From the Height of the Hays Code Era (1934-1962) - Page 2

The Hays code came into effect in 1934 and wasn't repealed until 1968, but in effect it stopped being fully enforced as early as 1963. In all that time, Hollywood continued to make great movies, despite the reactionary restrictions it had imposed on itself. Here are some of them.
