Classics or Older Books Bibliagirl Read for Fun

I read a lot of YA and "fluff," but I've also been made some effort to read classics or modern classics, or books that are a bit older that I just think I should read. (For this purpose, it's books from the 20th century that I've read in more recent years - reading them in the early 00s doesn't count.) In the last couple years, I've definitely been doing so with classic horror and scifi. This is what I've read outside of school requirements. Some books from school years I'm not sure - I know I used independent reading for things I wanted to read anyway (Martian Chronicles, Lord of the Rings, Frankenstein, Mists of Avalon, etc) - two birds with one stone! Would you count those as for fun, if I chose them and it wasn't from a list? If I've reread anything or can't remember, it's included on here. Mostly excluded children's literature.
