Complete National Film Registry - Page 6

All 850 movies currently on the Library of Congress Film registry. Starting in 1989, mainly in response to Ted Turner's colorization of classic movies he owned with his aquisition of MGM, The Library of Congress started a program where they select 25 American films a year for preservation. The public can nominate films for seelction each year.
