Contemporary Literature From Majority Islamic Countries

Fiction and Poetry by authors from majority Islamic countries. Most but not all are Arabic; most but not all are Moslem. I am neither Arab nor Moslem, nor an expert on literature; these are what I have read or plan to read for a personal reading project. Apart from Mahfouz and Saadawi, I discovered most of these authors through Betty Asma's World Literature group on Goodreads. Judging by how many of these books I had to add, I don't think this will duplicate a lot of other lists.
