Contemporary World Fiction: England - Page 2

These are English authors and their works that are discussed in "The Complete Review Guide to Contemporary World Fiction" (M.A. Orthofer, 2016). When authors are discussed but not their specific works, I have inserted the author's image which you should click if you've read ANY of their books. I have expanded some of the less commonly featured series into their individual books.
As usual ignore any score by Guest 38434148. Also the evil spirit world made me accidentally delete the Harry Potter series!
Orthofer generally finds the listed authors and these specific works as praiseworthy. However, about Amsterdam, Orthofer says "a misstep with an over-the-top denouement, for which he nevertheless won the Booker Prize". He also regards Martin Amis' Yellow Dog, Einstein's Monsters & The Second Plane unfavourably.
