With the Covid-19 pandemic spreading around the world it is time to think of our mortality. This is a list of life expectancy at birth with data based on
the latest United Nations Population Division estimates for 2020. The world's average life expectancy for females is 75.6 years and for males it is 70.8 years. For both sexes combined life expectancy at birth is 73.2 years. The list is in descending order with the population of Hong Kong having the
longest expected lifespan.
There are some surprises on this list; I hope you are living in a country/territory near the top of the list and enjoy a long and healthy life.
