Creepy Mix Tape: Songs About Serial and Spree Killers

Every few years, some song about pathological violence becomes a huge hit, and the self-appointed guardians of public morality wring their hands about the message our young people are hearing. Well, that message seems to be "leave the killers on TV and in the movies" since no one gets quite as exercised about, say, the "CSI" or "Law and Order" franchises. Anyway, to qualify for this list, the subject of the song has to be defined as a "killer"and/or claimed at least two victims, which excludes the narrators of "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "Folsom Prison Blues," not to mention armed cuckold Joe in "Hey Joe." Apparently, those gentlemen were able to quit after just one.
