Dan's 150 Movies That Left an Impression

Not counting falling asleep as a toddler at South Pacific, my first movie memory is at age eight: After the Fox. It is not insignificant that that movie is on this list. The movies here are not recommendations, and they are not in order. They represent lasting memories, some lasting 50 years: a scene, an image, a powerful feeling, or maybe just the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
