Elizabeth Hand has created vivid, unsettling, and highly original work across multiple genres since first appearing on the literary scene in 1990. She has won the Nebula Award, the James Tiptree, jr. Award, the World Fantasy Award, the Mythopoeic Fantasy Award, the Shirley Jackson Award, and the International Horror Guild Award. She perhaps is best known for her dark psychological thrillers featuring photographer Cass Neary, and has been a regular contributor to The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction. She is also known for her novelizations of screen and television work. She is, above all, one helluva fine writer.
