David Thomson's 1000 Films - Page 26

These are the films that British film critic David Thomson included in his book "Have You Seen...?" of 1,000 films he think every film fan should see. Not necessarily the 1,000 films he considers the greatest, he even includes guilty pleasures and unsuccessful films as well, but films that he considers to have impacted cinema in an incalculable way and that everyone should know about. The list count is actually a bit over 1,000 simply because he includes some films that were split into multiple parts, for instance Eisenstein's Ivan the Terrible. There are also some television shows included in the running, not just made-for-TV movies but full fledged series with multiple episodes.
