Dec 2021 TBR by D.K

Happy holidays! I won NaNoWriMo, using my 50K words to finish a 150K-word gothic space opera novel. Congrats on any NaNo-ing you managed to accomplish; more words are good words! My favorite book of November was The Golem by Gustav Meyrink. I thought it was going to be a monster novel, but it's very modern and philosophical. Since I'm late getting this month's posted, I have to admit I've already read the book I was most looking forward to, The Shadow Book of Ji Yun, a new collection of weird tales from historical China. 100% recommend. I think I'm going to buy a paper copy of my own. (I read a library book.)
