Doorstoppers

I do love me some big fat books! Given the choice between a 200 or a 1000 page book, I'll pick the latter every time. This list has books with more than 600 pages, all of which I have in my personal library, and a great many of which I have read (many more than once!).
Do you like to settle down with a lengthy tome (and maybe a cup of tea or glass of wine)? If so, you may find a few ideas on this list.
