Dragon Quest Mainline Games (And Remakes)

Every mainline Dragon Quest game released plus some of their remakes that are different enough, listed in order of release.
The DQIV and DQV remakes are listed on DS but with the PlayStation release dates since they're basically ports of those remakes.
I did not include the DQ I & II remake because I find the sprite work to be fairly underwhelming, whereas DQ III on SNES is pretty remarquable, warranting its inclusion on the list. I Also included its HD-2D remake to come, even though it seems rather similar to the SNES remake.
I added the HD-2D remake and the 12th game to the list to make it future proof
