With this great 2009 photo of a stray cat at the Suleymaniye Mosque in Kadikoy, which is a vast shopping district on the Asian side of Istanbul, Turkey/Turkiye, a place we know well even though we are making this list from Kingsport, Tennessee, USA (not actually where we are). So, indeed this list is a WILD MIX of films from the 1980s, 1990s, as well as Turkey, and the latest Criterion Closet video picks from (Director of 'Trainspotting') Danny Boyle. We happen to be listening to the short story "Cat Person," which was made into a recent movie (it's a thriller, dark comedy), so we begin the LIST with that FILM. As ALWAYS, enjoy!!!!!
