Even More Non-Marvel/DC Comic Book Characters - Page 16

Forget the heroes and villains of Marvel and DC - how many characters from other comics do you recognize? This list includes comic characters from independent and smaller companies, as well as from all around the world. The only requirement is that the character first appeared in a comic or comic strip (e.g. not a character adapted from film, novel or TV), and that they are not part of Marvel or DC. Unlike my previous list on this subject - http://www.listchallenges.com/non-marvel-dc-comic-book-characters - characters originating from companies later absorbed into Marvel and DC - e.g. Wildstorm, Milestone, Malibu's Ultraverse, Fawcett and Quality - are included. Since 616 characters already got used on the previous list, you will find there are fewer widely known characters - Charlie Brown, Popeye and Garfield, for example, were on the previous list.
