Atlas Obscura is one of the largest, most well-known and most impeccably awesome archives of amazing places, foods and experiences in the world.
Here is their list of places to see in Brazil! From a tree so big it's larger than two football fields, to the peak of an old church which is the only remnant of a drowned Brazilian city, to a faux desert landscape in the middle of the jungle that sprouts oases during the rainy season, to a stunning library containing the largest collection of Portuguese texts outside of Portugal, this Amazonian country is full of awesome surprises!
