Every Atlas Obscura Site in England - Page 49

Atlas Obscura is one of the largest, most well-known and most impeccably awesome archives of interesting and amazing places, foods and experiences in the world.
This is their extremely long list of places to visit in England! From beautiful filming sites from media like Harry Potter, to a gargantuan museum home to 80 million natural history specimens, to the twisting dense forest that was the inspiration for Lord of the Rings, to photogenic remains of buildings ranging from medieval times to WW2, this exciting land of history, famous characters and high society never fails to amaze! How many have you been to?
Note: Some of these you cannot visit or see anymore, which have been marked with (Permanently Closed). So therefore, if you haven't already seen them, I don't know if you'll ever be able to completely finish this list.
Note 2: This is as of November 11, 2025. Sorry future people, there will definitely be more that can't be added.
