Atlas Obscura is one of the largest, most well-known and most impeccably awesome archives of amazing places, foods and experiences in the world.
Here is their list of places to see in the Ocean State, Rhode Island! From the oldest still-operating tavern in the U.S., to the resting place of one of the classic authors of horror literature, to a library housing some books bound in human skin, to a 3,500 lbs. totem pole constructed with more than 1,000 reclaimed guns, Rhode Island is a great place to see cool things!
