Atlas Obscura is one of the largest, most well-known and most impeccably awesome archives of amazing places, foods and experiences in the world.
Here is their list of places to see in the Lone Star State, Texas! From the largest urban bat colony estimated at 1.5 million, to a modernist landscape of water & sci-fi concrete, to a 24-hour vending machine doling out pecan pies, to an iconic sculpture made of 10 graffitied Cadillacs as an homage to the American automobile, Texas is a wonderland of cool places to go!
