Favorite Movie, Each Year (That I've Seen)

Thought this would be an interesting experiment, ended up frustrated how many great films have to be left off when I can only pick one per year. If some of the early choices seem weird, it's usually because as far as I know I've only seen 1 or 2 films from those years. Apparently I haven't seen any films from 1943.
