Feb 2021 TBR by D.K.

Last month: didn't get a lot of reading done! Melmoth was my favorite book of the month; I feel like the genderflipped Melmoth was more effective than the original. I'm in the middle of reading A Brief History of Seven Killings, and WHOAH NELLIE is it not the easiest read, but it is endlessly fascinating. It's about the assassination attempt on Bob Marley. I had no idea what it was about, but it kept showing up on listchallenges with other books I'd liked, and...the cover grabbed me. I'm so glad I'm reading it, but it's funny how one ends up picking out books sometimes. May you have a good February! Remember, if you're single on Valentine's Day, that means you get to treat yourself to the memory of all the crappy relationships you COULD have ended up in. Maybe read a few bad romances to celebrate!
