Films From China, Hong Kong and Taiwan Seen So Far - Page 4

I regularly watch films from Chinese-speaking countries for last several years. They somehow seem to correspond with my temperament, reaching from humane realism to the tragedies of theatrical scale, seasoned with kind or eccentric humour. I am still far from being a specialist, but i think it is time to introduce you the films I have watched for now. They are ranked in rough order from the ones I liked the most to the ones I liked less, the first half of the list being my favourites and the second half being pretty watchable (there are only very few Chinese films I dislike). The list's image is a scene from "The Emperor and the Assassin" by Chen Kaige, the film which made me interested in Chinese cinema and culture.
