A strange month compared to my usually prolific amount of viewings, but a great film from a female filmmaker gets the top.
And yes the Urotsukidoji franchise, even censored, has problematic content within them that is indefensible. What is fascinating however is that, when they get their own point of being transgressive ero-guro dark fantasy, they do succeed succeed in spite of themselves.
