Films That Changed Alex's Life and Perspective - Page 4

These are films that changed my life for a variety of reasons: they may have included traumatic scenes that still stick with me (e.g. the baby scene in Trainspotting, or the Christmas morning scene in Sinister 2); they may have influenced my sense of humour (e.g. Monty Python); extremely poignant films or they made me cry (e.g. Schindler's List); favourites from my childhood (e.g. Merlin, The Lion King); they may have helped me realise my sexuality (e.g. Call Me By Your Name, Blue is the Warmest Colour); comfort films that I regularly rewatch to cheer myself up (Matilda, Amelie); they may have included scenes that made me question humanity (e.g. Irreversible, Grotesque); films that influenced my love of languages (e.g. 7 Zwerge, Les Choristes); films that introduced me to certain genres (e.g. Severance for horror, Iron Man for Marvel superhero films).
