First Edition Library (FEL) - Literary Books

Starting in the late 1980's, The First Edition Library (FEL) started publishing high quality facsimiles of literary masterpieces. If you aren't familiar with facsimiles, they are reproductions or essentially fakes. But high-quality fakes. Even errors in the original books are preserved! The First Edition Library copies appear identical to the "real" copies except for a notation on the copyright page, and the "FEL" designation on the inner dust jacket flap. Many of the FEL books were issued with a protective case and a notecard explaining the first edition points.
FEL produced 111 to 112 different books. They can be divided into the following categories: Banned Book Series, James Bond Series, Special Interests Series, Mystery Series, Science Fiction Series, and The Literary Series.
This list encompasses only The Literary Series set of First Edition Library books.
