A collection of favorite non-YA fantasy, sci-fi and speculative fiction novels from woman writers with varying viewpoints. In other words, read these when you are TIRED of boring beardy space marines and/or noble knights and/or grimdark antiheroes punching and wenching their way through plots and want to read something with a different nuance--although there are still some beards involved. (All of these writers are women, but not all of the books are about women.)
