Four and Five Star Books Published in 2019-2023

I try to balance my reading between classics/ literature published prior to 2000 and new(er) releases so that I can speak knowledgeably about current books and trends and make recommendations at the bookstore where I work, and beyond.
These are books published between 2019 and 2023 that I rated four or five stars at the time of reading. While I am not certain the ratings would remain the same for all of them today, there are several I consider must-reads, and few that are among my all-time favourites (Shuggie Bain, Young Mungo, Fight Night). All are worth checking out!
