The Banes of Alphabetized Lists - Page 4

All of us list makers have dealt with this dilemma, whether on this site or in our personal lists when dealing with movie franchises. If we alphabetize them, stuff like the Rambo, Indiana Jones, and Dark Knight films are confusing to categorize because the title of the first film is different from the rest of the series. Don't even get me started on series where every film is a totally different title, like Bond or Dirty Harry. How about series with the same title twice in the franchise like The Thing or Halloween? What's Final Destination and THE Final Destination all about? What is going on? What about when you try to list Spider-Man movies but they're now four separate franchises and one of them is part of the MCU so should be in that list and not the list of Spidey movies? What?
Notes: I'm only including the first four Godzilla films and the current Monsterverse ones because including ALL of them would heavily bog down the list.
