From Film Noir to Giallo to Neo-Noir: A Rate Your Music Custom Chart

What does film noir and the Italian giallo have in common? A penchant for thriller mysteries, that's what. The giallo, which also owned a fair bit to Hitchcock, could be seen in some respects as an evolution of traits found in the film noir of the 40s and 50s, with modern neo-noir bringing these themes full circle.
