In Febuary 2026, on the Reddit sub r/Cinephiles a call was posted for "Funniest movie most people have never heard of? I'd suggest Wanderlust, or Dinner for Schmucks."
And the sub provided. This is a list of the responses- deduped.
The variety of types of comedy and the the span of decades is what makes this an interesting list.
I did not include movies where someone said "anything by" a specific actor or director or a year was not given and I could not reasonably verify because there were one or more movies with the same title.
If I missed anything else, I apologize, I'm human and I make mistakes and things could have been added since I looked at the list.
