Goodreads "Best Coming of Age Stories" - Page 2

All but the very youngest of us have been through the "coming of age" experience. Goodreads did not specify any criteria for inclusion on the source list but I suspect most of us have not had such a supernatural pathway to adulthood as described in many of these books. Anyone who has, please give brief details of your experience under the COMMENTS tab. Ideally also specify a book whose plot most resembles your teen years, e.g. one of the 'Harry Potters'.
For inclusion: Top 300, 1000+ ratings, 2+ votes
BTW, this is my 100th transcription of a Goodreads' list to a version suitable for this website. Good on me.
