Goodreads "Best Literary Fiction" (Sort Of) - Page 6

"But a few aren't even fiction!", I can hear some of you scream, even though I'm all the way down here in Sydney.
Any way, according to Goodreads, "Literary fiction is serious fiction with claims to literary merit, and focuses more on style, psychological depth, and character. (As opposed to genre or popular fiction). What are your favourites of literary fiction?"
You can decide if a book on this list actually 'deserves' to be classified as literary fiction, regardless of what Goodreads' voters decided. I suspect for some readers it would be the 'kiss of death' for a book to be tagged as literary fiction.
