Goodreads "Cult Classics" - Round Two - Page 4

Another 320 book collection, from the staid to the weird and wonderful in the world of literature. From Homer right up to the present day (and into timeless zones if you're in the right mood).
There is considerable coverage of substance use/abuse in this instalment (I bet that will draw some of you in). And that reminds me, how did Charles Bukowski make it 73 years of age, given his lifestyle?
BTW, regarding 'The Dreamers' (Item 111) and other filmed books, why do they invariably say on the cover 'Now a major motion picture' rather than the often more truthful 'Now an average film' or even 'Now a crappy film'?
