Goodreads ''Most Depressing Books of All Time" - Now With 6 Times Greater Sadness - Page 2

The Lone List Lengthener rides again! As my mood became more sullen while compiling this challenge, I started including more of the most sombre or distressing covers from the database (and even made a few dozen myself). But see what happens mid-way through the list.
One of the main reasons for lengthening this list was to increase the chances of your favourite sad book making it onto the challenge (just check out the Goodreads original list to see how irate customers can otherwise become.) Also, I might be a typical insensitive male, but I can't see why some of these books are depressing (unless it is the last book in a treasured series, or plain-old poor writing.)
At least 2 votes for a book to be included. Plus my own very recently completed addition at 606. 'Moths' is an excellent read.
