Great Books for Book Club Organizers to Consider - Page 2

I've run a bunch of book clubs. That doesn't include the several I was a part of where I wasn't organizer. If you're looking to start your own book club--or think you might be hitting a wall with your current one(s)--here are some tried & true titles that succeeded in spurring conversations in my own that left most everyone happy and ready for more. There's a wide variety here in length, genre, and tone. A majority of these books were read by multiple book clubs of mine, and the positive responses were universal. Even if members didn't like a selection, they appreciated hearing what others had to say and had their minds changed a little. My book clubs' demographics run from 18 to 95 year-olds, urban and rural, and a variety of backgrounds. Hope this helps and happy reading!!
