Great Picaresque Novels

A picaresque novel is defined as "a genre of usually satiric prose fiction; often humorous detail the adventures of a roguish hero of low social degree living by his or her wits in a corrupt society." in practical terms it has evolved into a novel, usually humorous, that involves travels and adventures of one or more misfits, innocents, non-conformists, or rogues in a world or society they don't belong to.
