"The Greater Victoria Public Library (GVPL) has released its annual list of the most borrowed books of 2025, highlighting the titles that captured the community's attention across print, ebook, and audiobook formats. For the first time, the rankings are presented separately by format to show differences in popularity and borrowing patterns.
From January 1 to November 30, library users borrowed more than 3.1 million physical items and more than 2.5 million digital titles. Digital borrowing increased again this year, continuing the upward trend seen over the past several years, while print borrowing remained strong."
