Gulzar or Gulzar 'saab' is one of most respected person in Indian film industry. He is writer, lyricist and also film director.
He has won Oscar for song Jai Ho and Dadasaheb Phalke Award (Highest Award in Indian Film Industry)
In Todays time he only do lyrics writing for Bollywood movies but from 70s to 90s along with that he directed many movies also.
instead of making total realistic movies like Satyajit Ray, Ritwik Ghatak, he chose to combine commercial genre with art
personally I don't like such middle road movies yet I like some of his movies and same time disliked some of his movies also
although he is not same league of Ray, Ghatak or not even his contemporaries like Benegal, Nihalani and Kaul, his contribution in Hindi film industry can't be ignored
I am ranking all his feature films from Best to Worst.
#1 to #13 are best to good while remaining (#14 to #16 bad to worst)
I am excluding Mirza Ghalib as it was TV Series and Libaas which was un-released
