Heartland Prize Winners

'The Heartland Prize for fiction and non-fiction has been awarded to two authors every year since 1988. For more than two decades, the winners of the prize have exemplified and perpetuated the values of heartland America.'
I have listed them from year ascending so 1988 onward up to 2016 (I had to google the last few as the site lists up to 2013). The fiction winning book is followed by the nonfiction winner of that year. Happy reading! :)
