Hoopla is a streaming service that I've loved having because it was provided by my library. Using it however, is kind of another story. I've discovered a couple of hidden gems that are now some of my all time favorites because of this app. But I've also seen too many movies I disliked, sometimes hated. However, as a whole, I'm glad that the app has given me an excuse to check out a bunch of lesser known films that I haven't found in a whole lot of other places. And on the rare occasion, it's also helped me finish movies that were too scratched to watch on the DVDs from said libraries, specifically It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World and Nebraska (take better care of physical media, people! Jeez). Also, most of these are feature films, which includes a couple of tv films, but also one short film, The Red Balloon, because it actually costs a borrow on my end. So that's why I'm including it. There will be a Part 2 of this series.
