If You've Read 10% of These Novels, You're a Non-Mainstream Reader

The criteria for which novels qualified for this list is on the simpler side: works by notable authors published by reputable publishers of which you shouldn't have trouble finding copies. So, this list involves: lesser-known works by well-known authors; modern classics and old classics that have faded into obscurity; award-winners that didn't pick up steam on the popularity front; contemporary fiction that has been more heavily pushed by major publishing houses and hasn't taken off (yet, at least); respected books of certain countries or regions that never crossed-over well internationally; and the like. I referred to Goodreads, Amazon, and StoryGraph for gauging assistance by titles' rating numbers. Plenty more titles could extend this list. Happy reading!!
