IndieWire's 100 All-Time Greatest Films Directed by Women - Page 2

The IndieWire staff put together this list of the 100 All-Time Greatest Films Directed by Women to celebrate the work of creators who have been making their mark on cinematic culture since it began. 12 writers and editors suggested over 200 titles and then voted on a list of finalists to determine the ultimate ranking. While I believe they egregiously missed some films, I would easily recommend Maren Ade's Toni Erdmann (2016) and Larisa Shepitko's The Ascent (1976) before all of these films, this list is still a good collection of films to watch directed by women.
