In memory of my dear Dad 1957 – 2021.
Feel free to accept the challenge to take on my Dad's record collection, his life's work, that he began at the age of eight at Rämjes music store in Strömstad, with The Byrds single Mr Tambourine Man. With time and over the years the collection grew, with more singles and full-length albums. In addition, he created a personally recorded collection of tapes, which he with great care and thoroughness labeled using his typewriter as the CD came along. But as Dad was an incurable nostalgic, collecting vinyl was his main obsession. "Do they have vinyl?" he asked of every record and second-hand shop he heard about.
Dad's youth covered the 60's – 90's. Some of his favorite bands were Tages, Uriah Heep, Pink Floyd, Mott the Hoople, Golden Earring, AC/DC, Deep Purple, The Moody Blues, Hepstars, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, Journey, The Beatles...
Dad, you will be forever missed and loved.
