Jean-Luc Godard Filmography: Feature Films & a Few Key Shorts

Below is the a list of films directed or co-directed by one of the founding fathers of the French New Wave, Jean-Luc Godard. It includes all of his completed features and some of his notable shorts. A film discussion group that has some shared members with The Saturday Film Discussion group is having a discussion of Godard's THE MARRIED WOMAN (1964) on TUESDAY, August 26 at 6:30 p.m. EST via Zoom. We will also be discussing THE SOFT SKIN (1964) by François Truffaut. THE MARRIED WOMAN was Jean-Luc Godard's response film to THE SOFT SKIN. The discussion will no doubt also cover the careers of Truffaut and Godard in general; as well as their friendship and ultimate falling out.
