Kings of the Jungle

Common belief has lead many to believe that the lion is the apex predator in the jungle, or "rainforest." This is false, because lions, do some do travel in open woodlands of India, mainly live in Africa's savannahs. Also, lions are also not as large, or as strong as true jungle predators. So who do you think should be the king of the jungle? Should it remain the lion, maybe another big cat, or even a different predator?
