I honestly thought this would be a very long list since I went through a YA fantasy/dystopian series phase in the early 2010s. I haven't read much YA in the past few years, probably because I had enough teen drama at home with raising teenagers. I did not include middle school books or new adult even though these genres do overlap with YA.
